Stair Design Tool: An easy first step to choosing your own design

One of our customers’ favorite, yet sometimes overlooked, features to the new website is our unique and interactive Stair Design Tool. It literally enables anyone to be his or her own designer by allowing them to select from multiple railing options. It’s also a lot of fun to play around with, seeing which combinations work best for a particular theme, style, or motif.

Epic adventure for Heirloom in the Great White North

It began with a simple Google search. A Canadian Architectural Design firm was searching for a premier metal works craftsman to design and create three exterior Juliet balconies for a custom home in Ottawa, Canada. It didn’t take them long to land on The Heirloom Companies site and conclude: “this is the company for us.”

Ironwork Legacy: Forging the past, present and future

As part of their new dream home atop Glassy Mountain, the Markitells had four custom fireplace screens designed to depict the different places they’ve lived over the years: western Pennsylvania, New Orleans, Houston, and Trinidad and Tobago.
