Heirloom opens new showroom in downtown Greenville, SC

The Moseley family began their trek east from California some 20 years ago. They settled in a little town called Campobello, off scenic Highway 11—about 30 minutes from Greenville, SC. And while they just expanded their wood and metal shop to include a brand new lighting wing, they wanted a bigger presence in Greenville’s award-winning downtown.

“Greenville is a truly dynamic town,” says Allyn Moseley. “Not only has it become a tourist hotspot, it’s also a growing center for business and area development. We felt that many folks who live in Greenville, or visit the city, would be interested in what we offer. The trick was to find the right location to showcase our work, and we found it.”

The Heirloom Companies’ new showroom is located in the center of Greenville’s downtown district on East Court Street, literally a stone’s throw from the historic Westin Poinsett Hotel. “We were drawn to this location,” Ben Moseley says, “because it was within easy walking distance of all the sights and sounds of downtown—restaurants, shopping, entertainment, as well as the business sector. We feel our prospective customers live and work in the city, or visit the city for both business and pleasure. This new showroom allows people to get a quick glimpse of what we’re all about. Hopefully it will drive interest from both homeowners and businesses.”

Masterful creations in wood and iron

The showroom, which is located in the lobby of an old cotton mill, will feature some of The Heirloom Companies’ signature work: textured bronze lighting, custom furniture, and a number of other pieces that reflect the high-quality craftsmanship that the company is known for. What sets Heirloom apart from other manufacturers is their ability to combine masterful wood shaping and iron forging under one roof. Very few places anywhere can offer that. “We have a great team,” Ben says. “We have the ability to combine old world craftsmanship with the latest technology to create custom work that utilizes multiple materials, such as wood, iron, copper, glass, or mica. Everything we do is incorporated under one roof in Campobello: artisans, engineers, CNC operators, managers, fabricators, and installers. We want people in Greenville—both residents and visitors—to stop by our showroom, look at our sample work, pick up a brochure, and then give us a call.”
