Our Garden Gate Lantern, hand-crafted from copper, features delicate scrollwork and seeded glass lenses. Seeded glass, a technique that harkens back to colonial times, has small bubbles that refract the light and lend a vintage detail. Both the surface texture of the metal and the line quality of forms are controlled by the hand and eye of the craftsman operating the torch. By combining traditional and modern techniques, we are able to produce a contemporary approach to classic design. All Heirloom light fixtures are UL Listed and have met the requirements identified by UL's Standards for Safety.
